In 1999, OBJ did not participate in the presidential debate, he won.
I don’t recall if Yar’adua debated in 2007, he won.
In 2011, GEJ did not debate, he won. In 2015, Buhari did not debate with Jonathan, he won.
Participating in debate has never being a determinant for election victory in Nigeria. Unfortunately, majority of Nigerians do not care.
How else can u explain that people who refused to tell of their plans by participating in debates have been winning elections.
Well, this year again, the 2 front liners have once again shown us that they don’t care about your debate.
