We were better off when our leaders/ rulers (including those in khaki) were not paddymen of the thugs, criminals and area boys.
We were better off when our traditional rulers got on the throne on merit and not installed by ruffians or political opportunists.
We were better off when our policemen and security agencies were not fraternising with miscreants. When either party did not have the phone or communication details of the other.
Today, it is no longer the good chasing after the bad, but rather the supposed good and bad making life unbearable for the common man and those indifferent.
Just wondering. Could this be true? Is it the reason why the supposed fight against kidnapping and banditry seems to be bigger than it should?
